Instructions

DISCLAIMER: Some fragrances may alter the color of your doll hair (especially light colors). We strongly recommend doing a strand test before submerging your entire hank into the fragrance mixture.

You can scent doll hair before or after rooting it. If you are not planning on boil perming or washing the hair, you should scent the hair before you root your doll. If you plan to boil wash or boil perm the hair, you can add doll hair fragrance to the water. Washing with plain water after using fragrance will weaken the scent.

1) Measure one cup of water, and put it in a pot.
2) Add anywhere from 10-60 drops of fragrance, depending on whether you want the scent to be mild or strong.
3) Mix well- the doll hair fragrances are water soluble!
4) Put your doll hair in the pot, and then boil the mixture. Make sure you put the doll hair into the mixture before you boil it! Nylon hair should be brought to a mild simmer, Saran and all other kinds of hair can be brought to a rolling boil
* some hair colors, when boiled in the mixture, will discolor the water. This is nothing to worry about, and the color of the hair will not be affected if this happens.
5) Remove the pot from the stove and let the hair remain in there until the water cools to room temperature.
6) Take the hair out of the pot, let it air dry, and there you have it: scented doll hair that smells great!!
